Terms and conditions online tickets
- The e-ticket gives single entry to the museum
- Purchased tickets are non-refundable and/or non-exchangeable.
- It is not possible to order tickets by phone.
- If the ticket specifies a time slot, you may enter the museum up to the time of your chosen arrival time.
- Only on presentation of a valid e-ticket and any required discount card or voucher will you be granted entry to the museum.
- An entrance ticket bought in advance is valid only on the date and time indicated on it.
Privacy
- We will use your e-mail address to send your ticket(s).
- If you have signed up for the newsletter, you will be subscribed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- You will receive by e-mail necessary and/or relevant information applicable to your visit.
House rules Kessels Museum Tilburg
- Luggage: To visit the exhibition halls, please store bags larger than A4 and backpacks in a locker. Please leave walking sticks and umbrellas etc. at the entrance. Please hang up your coat in our cloakroom.
- Wheelchairs, buggies and prams: A buggy, pram and wheelchair are allowed in the museum. Professional companions of wheelchair users have free admission.
- Food and drink: It is not allowed to consume food brought into the museum or the adjoining restaurant De Harmonie. It is also not allowed to eat or drink in the exhibition rooms.
- Smoking: The entire museum area is non-smoking.
- Pets: Certified service dogs are allowed in the museum. Other dogs are not allowed in the museum.
- Nuisance: We ask you to be considerate of other visitors and not to shout, run or frolic in the museum. We also ask you to put your mobile phone on silent or off when entering the exhibition rooms.
- Distance from exhibits: Most exhibits should not be touched, however tempting that may sometimes be. Therefore, please keep an appropriate distance from these objects. Some installations may be touched. They invite you to do so. Please be considerate of other visitors.
- Photography and filming for personal use is allowed, always taking into account the privacy of third parties.
- Other: Instructions from museum staff should always be followed. The management is not liable for loss, theft or damage to you or your belongings occurring during your stay in our building or grounds.
- The KidsMusicLab is located on the second floor of the museum. Parents or legal representatives bear responsibility for minors.
Additional house rules due to coronavirus (The site will indicate whether or not these rules apply. Please consult the museum's site before your visit!)
- Tickets for museum: advance booking is required. Payments only by pin or phone (contactless).
- Health complaints: If you have been ill or suffering from cold symptoms in the past two weeks, please postpone your visit.Come only if you are healthy. Upon entering the museum, we will ask you if you are healthy and do not have any complaints appropriate to the coronavirus.
- Hygiene: Disinfect your hands on entry. Disinfectants are available at various places in the museum.
- Distance: keep 1.5 metres away from other visitors and our staff.
- One-way: The walking route in the museum is one-way, please follow this route.
- Photography and filming: To avoid congestion, photography and filming is not allowed in the museum.
- Lift: If use of the lift is necessary, please report to the reception desk. You will be accompanied by a staff member.
- Coats and bags: If you can, leave your coat at home or in the car so you can skip the cloakroom. And bring a small bag, so you don't need a locker.
- Staff instructions: Please follow the indicated guidelines and instructions of our staff. If you do not comply with these house rules, please leave the museum.
- Museum accessibility: The museum is only accessible to museum staff and visitors. The rooms are arranged so that you can use the facilities at an appropriate distance.
- Privacy: We may be asked by the GGD to release visitor information (name and email/phone number) as part of source and contact investigations around Corona. We are obliged to cooperate with this.
P.S. The restaurant 'De Harmonie', located on the ground floor of the Huis van Muziek has its own rules.
