Terms and Conditions for Online Tickets
- The e-ticket grants one-off entry to the museum
- Tickets purchased cannot be refunded and/or exchanged.
- It is not possible to book tickets by telephone.
- If the ticket specifies a time slot, you may enter the museum up until the chosen arrival time.
- You will only be granted entry to the museum upon presentation of a valid e-ticket and any required discount card or voucher.
- An admission ticket purchased in advance is only valid on the date and at the time stated on it.
Privacy
- We will use your email address to send you your ticket(s).
- If you have signed up for the newsletter, you will be subscribed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- You will receive by email any necessary and/or relevant information relating to your visit.
House Rules at the Kessels Museum, Tilburg
- Luggage: When visiting the exhibition galleries, please store bags larger than A4 size and rucksacks in a locker. Please leave walking sticks, umbrellas and similar items at the entrance. Please hang your coat in our cloakroom.
- Wheelchairs, buggies and prams: Buggies, prams and wheelchairs are permitted in the museum. Professional carers accompanying wheelchair users are admitted free of charge.
- Food and drink: You are not permitted to consume food brought from outside in the museum or the adjoining restaurant, De Harmonie. You are also not permitted to eat or drink in the exhibition galleries.
- Smoking: The entire museum grounds are smoke-free.
- Pets: Certified assistance dogs are permitted in the museum. Other dogs are not permitted in the museum.
- Nuisance: We ask you to be considerate of other visitors and not to shout, run or frolic in the museum. We also ask you to put your mobile phone on silent or off when entering the exhibition rooms.
- Distance from the exhibits: Most of the exhibits must not be touched, however tempting that may sometimes be. Please therefore keep a suitable distance from these exhibits. Some installations may be touched; these are designed to invite interaction. Please be considerate of other visitors when doing so.
- Photography and filming for personal use is allowed, always taking into account the privacy of third parties.
- Miscellaneous: Instructions given by museum staff must always be followed. The management accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to you or your belongings occurring during your visit to our building or grounds.
- The KidsMuziekLab is located on the second floor of the museum. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for minors.
Additional house rules due to coronavirus (The site will indicate whether or not these rules apply. Please consult the museum's site before your visit!)
- Tickets for museum: advance booking is required. Payments only by pin or phone (contactless).
- Health complaints: If you have been ill or suffering from cold symptoms in the past two weeks, please postpone your visit.Come only if you are healthy. Upon entering the museum, we will ask you if you are healthy and do not have any complaints appropriate to the coronavirus.
- Hygiene: Disinfect your hands on entry. Disinfectants are available at various places in the museum.
- Distance: keep 1.5 metres away from other visitors and our staff.
- One-way: The walking route in the museum is one-way, please follow this route.
- Photography and filming: To avoid congestion, photography and filming is not allowed in the museum.
- Lift: If use of the lift is necessary, please report to the reception desk. You will be accompanied by a staff member.
- Coats and bags: If you can, leave your coat at home or in the car so you can skip the cloakroom. And bring a small bag, so you don't need a locker.
- Instructions from staff: Please follow the guidelines and instructions provided by our staff. Should you fail to comply with these house rules, we ask that you leave the museum.
- Museum accessibility: The museum is only accessible to museum staff and visitors. The rooms are arranged so that you can use the facilities at an appropriate distance.
- Privacy: We may be asked by the GGD to disclose visitor information (name and email address/telephone number) as part of source and contact tracing in relation to COVID-19. We are obliged to cooperate with this.
P.S. The restaurant 'De Harmonie', located on the ground floor of the Huis van Muziek has its own rules.
